I AM READY, please give me some good conditions. THis weekend could be nice, but as many speedaddicts know... IT JUST COULD BE...
However I never felt as ready as I am now, I tryed a new type Select speedvin which was underneath my Carbon Art 50 speedboard. The lenght was just 27cm, and I was really underpowered, but this fin was giving just a lot of control.
The overall stability is just complex, I think that about 30% of all possibilies I have tryed. And found 2 different setups that worked really well. The main difference is mastfoot position, and everything around that I adjusted to work the best.....The new NP RS:Racing allows me to even put the masttrack 4cm to the back compared to the Gaastra Vapor.
But back to the story, I am ready because I have such SWEET select speedfins, the shortest fin is 23cm long, and a topspeed above my imagination. Also my new NP RS:Racing 5.8 has just that amazing acceleration, but not a flighty feelin at all!
The Select SL7 Silver 25cm already broke every tectonics fin record, and the Select S07 25cm broke that record again. BUT I am still looking for a bit more tectonics feeling vin, just for really heavy conditions. The Select Devil is made for such heavy conditions, I wouldn't call it speed anymore. So something inbetween...
Pleasse gimme wind!
