35kn in the middle of chop/waves

Today I couldn't be on the Brace for the 2nd time. This time I had during low-tide an exam @ school. Not funny...

When I finished my exam @ 14:30 I went home checked the wind etc... I gambled and went to the Amstelmeer, hoping there was any wind left for me. I started 15:45 and the wind was 18kn and some 22kn gusts.

The windangle was a bit different than usual, more SSW or something like that. I couldn't make any runs @ the speeddam. So I went on the middle of the lake, there was enough wind to entertain me. 16:15 I changed my fin to the Caspar Speed 27cm underneath my Carbon Art Speed 50. This combination rocked!! So easy & fast.

Did a few 35kn topspeeds over BIG chop, riding down a waves, haha... Down-the-Line speedsurfing, on waves of aprox 0,6m.

Cheers,

Erik
