My best side when sailing always used to be Port side (leftside of board). Now the last competition USM it really scared me my port side skills were not that good... I was faster over starboard???
I decided after the USM to train port side speedsailing, yesterday I had some lightwind open water sailing and I got my port side tuned up!!! Ready for high speed, the feeling is back.
Why are all fast speedspots over starboard tack???????????
BTW yesterday was hard to sail, I used a Falcon 79+ 6.2... I don't enjoy lightwind sessions only because I have to sail very efficient to get close to others. On salt water there seems to be no problems with smaller boards... This is why I only take a Falcon 79 and a falcon speed to leucate.
