Used gear can be very good, or totally not. There is no windsurfing gear that lasts forever, keep this in mind before making a big investment!!!

Hi Eric,
ReplyDeleteIm a very lightweight windsurfer. 65kgs. Im looking for a speedboard that can take my 6.2 down to 5.0 in a range of speed surfing conditions. What board would you recommend?
hi Dave,
ReplyDeletewhen you got some flat water I think the F2 missile XS is a nice board. We have Jan Wolters (also 65kg). He uses 5.0-6.2 succesfull on the F2 missile.
Myself I have the isonic speed special W44, haven't tried it yet. but it looks very nice.
It might scare you a bit these low volumes, but to be fast you need a small board.
For more choppy conditions I liked the starboard isonic speed special 49
Cheers,
Erik
Would Exocet Warp SL 50 qualify as speedsurfing board?
ReplyDeleteLets add the exocet!
ReplyDeletehi
ReplyDeletei am intrested in a select sl 11
i have a Ray 09 125L whith the standard fin
I have seen that you have test this board
can you help me find what size of fin i need for the same amount of lift?
thanks
This is difficult for me, the Ray 125 is some time ago... How long was that standard Choco?? I remember using a 1-3cm shorter Select worked out really well
